Biography

Caroline Alice was born on 24th April 1867 at Cardiff, South Wales. Peter was born on 28th February 1860 in Aidrie, Scotland, the son of Peter Walker and Margaret nee Badenoch. She married Peter Walker on 29th April 1886 in Edinburgh, Scotland. They had fourteen children of which seven died in infancy. In 1926, Peter and Caroline emmigrated to the United States of America with all their surviving children. Peter died on 2nd August 1937 at Syracuse, New York. Caroline died on 16th September 1949 at Syracuse, New York.

Richard Kelso 1891-1918

Richard Kelso was born in Scotland in 1891. Enlisted in the Cameron Highlanders during World War 1. Died of wounds at Salonica, Greece on 2nd September 1918.

Caroline 1895-1986

Caroline was born in Scotland on 12th May 1895. She married Peter Devine on 12th June 1917. Peter was born on 29th December 1894 at Glasgow, the son of James Devine and Eleanor nee Duffy. Peter died at Boynton Beach, Florida, U.S.A. on 16th June 1960. Caroline died at Falls Church, Virginia, U.S.A. on 2nd January 1986. They had three children.

1. Helen born at Oswega, New York on 24th December 1920. She married Donald J Ingraham at Fulton, New York on 10th January 1941. Donald died at Fulton, New York on 30th November 1980. They had one child. Ronald born 10th December 1941. Married Geraldine Lloyd.

2. James born at Oswega on 30th November 1922. He married Martha Scanlon at Oswega in December 1946. James died at Milford, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. in February 1987. They had three children. Judy, Richard and David.

3. Joseph born at Oswega on 20th December 1924. Died at Oswega in June 1944.

Margaret 1896-1975

Margaret was born at Glasgow, Scotland in 1896. She married (1) James Forsyth. (2) Homer Greenwood. Homer was born at Oswega, New York on 27th March 1890. He died at Syracuse, New York on 11th October 1962. Margaret died at North Syracuse, New York on 17th July 1975. There was one child from the 2nd marriage, Orena. Margaret died on 17th July 1975 at Syracuse, New York.

Robert Evans 1899-1971

Robert Evans was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 25th July 1899. He married Marian Robeson at Glasgow on 26th September 1919. Marian was born at Kirkintiloch, Scotland on 30th November 1899, the daughter of Robert Robeson and Alice nee Harrold. Robert died at Syracuse, New York on 27th April 1971. Marion died at Sebastion, Florida on 14th February 1985. They had six children.

1. Peter born at Glasgow on 16th February 1920. Married Beatrice Rosetta Reed at Syracuse, New York on 14th September 1940. They have one child. Elizabeth Ann (Betty) born 11th August 1941.

2. Alice Margaret born at Glasgow on 19th February 1922. Married Frank Adams at Syracuse, New York. They have one child. Barbara Jean born 19th July 1942.

3. Richard born at Oswega, New York on 29th November 1924. Married Stella Kucharski at Syracuse, New York on 14th September 1946. Richard died at Syracuse, New York on 8th December 1990. They had four children. Deborah Jean, born 11th July 1949, Robert Bruce, born 18th May 1953, Richard James, born 12th June 1957 and Constance Ann, born 13th July 1960.

4. Caroline Elizabeth born at Syracuse, New York on 24th August 1930. Married James Lionel Galipault at Syracuse, New York on 18th April 1949. James was born at Syracuse, New York on 25th May 1925, the son of Joseph Galipault and Eliza nee Couti. They had seven children. Joanne Lynne, born 3rd November 1949, James Lionel Jr. born 4th November 1950, Catherine Ellen, born 30th July 1952, William Joseph, born 24th July 1954, Richard John, born 31st August 1955 and Elizabeth Ann, born 11th February 1960.

5. Robert born at Syracuse, New York on 29th September 1932. Married Jacquelyn Spencer in Florida on 3rd February 1956. They had three children. Robert John, born 14th July 1957, Steven Mark, born 9th October 1961 and Cindy Jeanne, born 13th October 1966.

6. Frances born at Syracuse, New York on 1st December 1935. Married Anthony Angarano at Syracuse, New York on 7th August 1954. They had six children. Karen, born 9th February 1956, Laurie, born 29th April 1957, Sherry, born 23rd November 1958, Kim, born 2nd August 1962, Michael, born 22nd September 1963 and David, born 18th September 1968.

Joseph 1901-1989

Joseph was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 31st July 1901. He married Marion Moore. Marion died at Syracuse, New York in 1960. Joseph died at Holiday, Florida on 22nd February 1989. They had five children. Joseph, Christine, Marion, Catherine and Robert.

Wilanina 1903-1988

Wilamina was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1903. She married Edward Mahar. Both Wilamina and Edward died in 1988. They had three children. Edward, Joyce and James.
