Biography

Emily was born about 1827.

She married John Springall and had one son, Sidney (born in 1858), before they emigrated from England to New Zealand.

They travelled on the Ship Mermaid, departing from Liverpool on 11 July 1859 and arriving into Auckland on 19 October 1859.[1]

They had five more children after their arrival in New Zealand.

Her husband John passed away in 1890.

Emily probably passed away in 1915 at the age of 88.
