He served as Co-Administrator of his father's estate until he moved out of state in 1867. He is in Forsyth County, Georgia in 1850 and 1860 and then in Whiteville, Marion (later Baxter), Arkansas in 1870 and 1880. He married Elizabeth S. Killingsworth (daughter of Mark Killingsworth and Susanna McGee, sister of Faith Melissa Killingsworth that married his brother Andrew Jackson Kemp). [2].
