Edward Kemp was born on 28 Sep 1795 in Kentucky. He was the son of Edward Kemp.

Edward married Elizabeth Jane Jackson Kemp (1801–1892) on 11 Jun 1818 in Bracken, Kentucky.

Edward died on 20 Jun 1866 (aged 70) in Fountain County, Indiana.

Research Notes

It is doubtful that Edwards’s currently listed mother is correct. She was not even born at his birth.

He was the son of Edward Kemp who was thought to have been born in 1770 in Sussex, NJ and died in 1830 Pendleton, Kentucky.

His wife is shown on his Find A Grave Memorial. There is a link to her Find A Grave, which shows on the bio this note: “Her father was Henry Jackson which was a 1st cousin of President Andrew Jackson.”
