Biography

John Kandrick was born August 21, 1745 in Amesbury, Massachusetts. His parents were Samuel Kendrick and Hannah Colby.


He married Keziah Baldwin on February 06, 1772. [1] [2]

Together they had these children born in Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts.: [3]

  1. Oliver Kindrick, b. 1789.
  2. Philander Kendrick, bp. 1797.

    Lieutenant John Kandrick served with 5th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

John was a Sergeant in Capt. Benjamin Houghton's company of Minutemen, Col. John Whitcomb's rehiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, afterwhich he was made a Lieutenant in Capt. Andrew Haskell's company, Col. Asa Whitcomb's regiment. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]


He died on April 28, 1808 in Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts. [3]
