Biography

Early Life

Martin Kendrick was born about1745, in North Carolina, a son of William Kendrick and Sarah (Jones) Kendrick. [1] About 1770, in Chatham County, North Carolina.

Marriage

Martin married Susannah Thompson about 1770, North Carolina, daughter of William Thompson and Hannah (Bell) Thompson. Captain Martin was listed as an officer with the Chatham county Loyalist Militia, during the American Revolutionary War. [2][3]

Martin was a Slave Holder and had 1 slave as recorded in the 1790 Census below.
