MILLERSBURG - Mrs. Pearl McCauslin, 86, died in the Scenic View Nursing Home Friday afternoon following an extended illness.
She was born June 5, 1890, in Kingston, N. Y., to Gifford and Rhoda Mattic Kendrick. She married Walter Stockman and later married John McCauslin, both of whom are deceased.
Mrs. McCauslin was a member of the First Christian Church here and the Mother's Class of the Church. She also belonged to the Dorcas Society.
Surviving are three sons, George Stockman, Coshocton; Frank Stockman, Hayward, Calif., Clayton J. Stockman, Freemont, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Guy (Helen) Snyder, Canton; Mrs. Robert (Alcy) Bonham, here; two stepsons, Doyle McCauslin, Cuyahoga Falls; John McCauslin, St. John, Kansas; two step-daughters, Mrs. Harold (Dema) Arnold, here; Mrs. John (Mable) Hindenach, Canton; 11 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A daughter and step-daughter are deceased.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Hunter-Alexander Funeral Home with James Harding officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
