Biography

John Kennedy was the son of John Kennedy and Jean Douglas who married on 15 March 1705.^[1]

He succeeded to the Baronetage in July 1742^[2]

John Kennedy died, unmarried, at Ayr, Ayrshire on 10 April 1744 and his estate was confirmed in Glasgow Commissary Court on 3 December 1744.^[2][1][3]
