Michael Kennedy was born in Ireland.

His children emigrated to Australia in 1841 on the Albatross.[2]On the shipping indents it suggests that Michael was still alive, but was a widower his spouse named Mary.
Research Notes
The death of a Mrs Mary Kennedy was reported in the Limerick Chronicle on 19th August 1840; she died (Sunday last) at Broad Street Limerick. She was presumably a woman who devoted herself to religious works and all attendant virtues. Michael's dead wife was supposed to be named Mary, Could this be her?
