Biography

Mark Kirksey Kennedy "Kirk" was born in Buffalo New York. When we moved to Cairo Egypt, he did not take the change easily. Eventually he made alot of friends in the American community there. In Highschool (ad Cairo American College k-12) he played Basketball and traveled to a lot of places like England and Greece to play basketball there. One of his best friends was Steve Kerr who later went on to play for the Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and went on to be a sports caster and Coach. Kirk and Steve Kerr tied for MVP. Kirk went to the University of TN in Knoxville. On mothers day of 1986 I had the sad duty to tell my parents that their son was badly injured from a fall. He had broken his spinal cord. Kirk died Dec 5, 1986
