Thomas Kerr was born on March 28, 1754 in Glasserton, Wigtown, Scotland, son of John Kerr (~1707– ) and Isobel Hanna (~1711– ).[1]
Thomas (22) married Margaret McHarg (23) (born in 1752 in Old Luce, Wigtown; daughter of John McHarg and Jean (McGowan) McHarg) on November 26, 1776 in Portpatrick, Wigtown.[2] Their children were:
