Glenn was born in Rossville, Shawnee County, Kansas, on Sept. 18, 1917, the son of William Kerr and Ethel Ida Reid.
He attended school in Rossville and graduated from Kansas State University with a BS degree in chemistry in 1939 and a master's degree in chemistry in 1940.[1]
He married, firstly, Marjorie Belle Davisson in August 1949.[1] She passed away prior to December, 1981.
He married, secondly, Harriett Ialene Lowry on December 27, 1981.[1]
He died on Febuary 19, 2009 in Parma, Canyon County, Idaho.[1]
