Kerr-14033 and Kerr-357 appear to represent the same person because: Your profile for Catherine Kerr (Stewart) matches my recent profile (spelt name with K). I think they are the same person and would appreciate your agreement to merge. Thank you
Hi Dawn - Thank you for your contributions to our One World Tree. Our pre-1700 standards do NOT allow for Ancestry.com or other Family Trees to be cited as "reliable sources" for pre-1700 profiles. IF the Ancestry tree has Primary or other Secondary reliable sources, you MUST cite each source (hopefully with its URL leading a researcher to find it on Ancestry.com if they are a subscriber); otherwise the profile, like this one, is "Unsourced".
WikiTree has been a bit "lax" about this rule, although it is clearly stated on the pre-1700 self-certification quiz or form you filled out to certify. Now, in 2024, that is changing and the certification may be Removed if at least One such "reliable source" is not cited for Each pre-1700 profile created or edited.
Right now I am marking this profile as Unsourced and request you add the sources you refer to from Ancestry. The reliability and reputation of our Tree depends on having reliable sources that can be researched, especially for pre-1700 ancestors as they may be ancestors for thousands of members today.
Kerr-478 and Kerr-357 appear to represent the same person because: Discrepancy in birth dates, same name, married to same man ,probably, died about the same time. thanks.
