Mary Kestler was born about 1835, the daughter of George Kestler and Juda Hinson. [1][2][3]
Note that census records from 1850-1910 show her born 1838, 1841, 1840, 1850, 1839, and 1849 respectively. Her gravestone shows her year of birth as 1835.
She married on 28 Dec 1871 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina to John P. Phillips, son of Nathan H. Phillips and Margaret Pines. [4]
Mary passed away in 1918 and is buried at Carolina Christian Church Cemetery in Burlington, North Carolina. [5]
