[He married Mary Elizabeth Greenwalt in 1767, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 10 sons and 8 daughters. He lived in Munfordville, Hart, Kentucky, United States in 1820.
He moved from Pennsylvania to Nelson County (then Virginia) about 1783, and was associated there with James, Thomas, and William Logsdon. Lived in Phillip's Fort in the Nolynn Area, which was founded in 1781. This area later became Hardin County, and currently LaRue County, KY.]
