Married Well and Often: Marriages of the Northern Neck of Virginia, 1649-1800: by Robert K. Headley, Jr: Periodical mentions Judith Kesterson's marriage to Tignor (no first name), before March 26, 1761. Mother, 'Quella' (Aquila), widow of George, mentions daughter Judith Tignor in her will dated March 26, 1761 - November 8, 1762.

The Saint Stephens Parish records also mention the birth of Judith Kesterson, daughter to George and Eliz. (sic) on June 6, 1745. This is not the same Judith as the subject, but the niece, who was the daughter of George Kesterson and Mary 'Elizabeth' Dandridge.

U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900, give Judith's birth year at 1709. However, there is no proof her husband's first name is James.
