Biography

Mary Ann Keyes was the youngest of seven children. Mary Ann had three sons by Joseph Jamison: Theodore (Ted) Jamison, John M. Jamison, and Jay D. Jamison.

Mary Ann had one daughter by Joseph Jamison: Mary Alice Smedley Before marrying Joseph Jamison, Mary Ann had a daughter from Lavelian R. King, whom she married in 1880 and the daughter is named Hallie King Smythe. Lavelian R. King died in 1891.

Before marrying Mary Ann Keyes, Joseph Jamison had a daughter with an unknown woman with surname "Shakley" and the daughter was named Lottie Jamison Shakley.

Mary Ann married Joseph Jamison in 1897. Mary Ann had a daughter Maude Bell Jamison who died at 18 months age from spinal meningitis. Hallie and Lottie were daughters of Mary and Joe by previous marriages. Mary Ann and Joe were both widowed. Mary Ann and Joe could not make family life with daughters from previous marriages. Hallie went to live with Mary's parents and Lottie went to live with Joe's parents. Mary Ann Keyes' father, Samuel Keyes came directly from Ireland with his wife Elizabeth Keyes and children. Mary Ann and Joe are buried at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery with daughter Maude (Madison township, Musk. County)
