Biography

Hans Valentin Kieffer was born about 1790 in Blankenloch, Karlsruhe, Baden son of Antoni Kieffer and Anna (Pfattelcher) Kieffer. He was a weaver. He married Anna Catherina Zeitter on January 14, 1721 in Blankenloch[1] and they had three children. He then married Anna Barbara Stober on July 4, 1730 also in Blankenloch.[2] They had ten children. He emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1837 with his family. Hans Valentine died in 1775 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
