John Killeen married Myrtle Baker and they had 3 sons. Myrtle left John when the children were very young. By 1930, Myrtle had already left, and John was living with his aunt Elizabeth Kilduff (the whereabouts of his sons at that time is unknown).[3] By 1940, John was living independently and raising his sons by himself.[4]
