When Agnes Ellen Kimber was born in March 1863, her father, Frederick, was 23, and her mother, Alice, was 23. She married Charles Michael Parker and they had two children together. She then married or had a relationship with George Charles New and they had five children together. Agnes travelled with daughter Pearl M New on board the ST Louis departing from Liverpool on the 14 Feb 1915 she was 51 years old and registered herself as Agnes H New. Agnes died on 10 August 1938 in Riverside, California, USA, at the age of 75. Agnes grew up in Houndsdown where her father was groom to the Barker Mill family.
