If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

See Template:User_Global_Family_Reunion. It's fun to see how this number goes down as we add more cousins and our connection gets closer.

Kandace, welcome to WikiTree! I connected Charlie Clifton Kimmel up to his Kimmel ancestors. I added a lot of sources in case you'd like to add the mothers and siblings for your part of the family.

This makes us ninth cousins! Tonight when the database servers run their calculations you should see that you're now connected to the Global Family Tree. We see this by using the "Connection to AJ" selection from the top right dropdown menu named like Kimmel-389 for you.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

I would like to add my family tree to this site and explore even more family members that I have missing. Starting with my children, myself, and my parents, I have been able to trace our tree back to 1741 - that's 10 generations so far. I would like to add more and help other people explore their trees like I have. I have spent countless hours doing family/internet research, and there are some parts of the family that I have not been able to trace past my grandparents on my mother's side of the family.

I am excellent at online and "in-person" research, and I hope that I can be of some help to others as a volunteer!
