Biography

The 4 Jun 1835 edition of the City Gazette reported: "m. Hampton, Sunday morn., by Rev. S. Busby, Wesleyan Missionary, George King of St. John / Mary Ann Fowler eldest d/o late Joseph Fowler of former place.NBC: Stephen Fowler " [1]

George King was a shipbuilder and shipowner in New Brunswick. He is the father of New Brunswick premier and judge, George Edwin King.
