James King was born in Meldreth, Cambridgeshire, England.

James was born in 1743.

A marriage licence was issued for James King, aged 21 and Mary Ellis, dated 2 March 1761, to be married in the parish of Meldreth. The bondsmen were John Whitby of Harston, a yeoman, and Robert Ellis of Meldreth, a yeoman [1]

He passed away in 1837. [2]
