Nancy Ann King was born 28 May 1795 in Montgomery County, Virginia. She is the daughter of Robert King and Elcybeth Rayburn.

As early as 1805, lots were laid out for the town of Christiansburg, many purchased by Robert KING. King owned Lot #27 which adjoined one owned by Charles TAYLOR. In 1818 Geo CLARE purchased Lot #27 from Robert KING. Problem with deed… Because he has died, CLARE wishes to procure a conveyance from his children and heirs: Joseph, Robert & James KING; Charles (Nancy) BELFOR, Lewis (Elisabeth) MARSHALL, heirs of Peggy EDMUNSON: Walter D (Ellen) BLAIR; John, James, Henry & Margaret EDMUNDSON.
Death:
Nancy Ann King Trigg Balfour died 19 Aug 1854 in McMinn County, Tennessee. She is buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Athens.[3]
