Sarah was born about 1839. She was the daughter of Noah King and Sarah Clark Meeks. She lived with her parents and siblings in Jamaica, Queens, New York in 1850.[1] She lived with her mother and siblings there in 1860.[2]
By 1880, Sarah was keeping house for her brother, William, in Clayton, Barbour, Alabama.[3] She lived in Eufaula, Barbour, Alabama in 1910[4] and 1920.[5]
Research
some census records say she was born in New York, while others that she was born in New Jersey.
