Lieutenant William King Sr served with Hampshire County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

William King of Wilbraham was a Lieutenant in Capt. James Warriner's (Wilbraham) company, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775. [1] [2]

William King was born on January 20, 1717 in Wilbraham, Hampden County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of John Aaron King and Sarah Allen.

William (25) and Jemima Bliss (22) were married on June 11, 1742 in Wilbraham. [3]

Jemima was born on May 15, 1720 in Longmeadow, Hampden, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Thomas Bliss and Sarah (Dorchester) Bliss.

Their children were:

  3. Solomon King, b. 1747.[3]
  4. Jemima King, b. 1751.

William died on September 21, 1797 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut, United States, aged 80.
