Sarah was born in 1754. Sarah King married William Hewett. She passed away in 1837. Unfortunately, this gravestone, located in the Hope Grove Cemetery in Hope, Maine, is now illegible. It was still legible in 1985, and read "SACRED to the memory of SARAH HEWETT, who died April 6, 1837 Aged 83 years". Sarah is the daughter of Benjamin King (1722-1778) and his wife Sarah (Taylor) King (1726/7-1819), granddaughter of Peter King alias Rice (1695-1739) and his wife Elizabeth (Flagg) (1699-1722), and great granddaughter of Samuel King alias Rice (1667-1712/3) and his wife Abigail (Clapp) (1675-1713).[1]
