Charlotte was born in 1766. She was christened in Hutton Cranswick on 03 Apr 1766.[1]
Research
In 1787 there is a burial for a Charlotte King in Lowthorpe, which is approximately 10 miles from Hutton Cranswick. According to the record, she was a spinster.[2]
There is also a marriage record in 1788 in St. Mary's church in Hull for a Charlotte King and a Henry Parkins. The record suggests that she was from this parish, whereas, Henry was from Sculcoates parish. Witnesses to the marriage were Alexander Beckett & Elizabeth Vowooo? (Croskell?/Botterill?).[3]
