Biography
James was born about 1842.
He is the son of John King and Isabella Macanash.
In 1851 James was living at 49 Main Street, Doune, Kilmadock with his parents and siblings. He was a scholar. The family employed two servants. [1]
In 1871 James was living at Sandyford Street, 5 Derby Terrace, Glasgow with his brother, his sister-in-law and two house servants. He was a book keeper. [2]
