Daniel King Jr. was born ca 1625 in England son of Daniel King and Elizabeth Guy. [1] He testified to be age 30 on Nov. 6, 1655. (p. 42)[2][3]
1653: May 6: Daniel King Jr. of Beconfield, Bucks Co. being bound for New England, writes he has received goods his cousin William Guy of London, valued at L45 14 s, which Daniel Jr. intends to sell for William.[3] (p. 163)[4]
1658: Aug. 14: Daniel King Sr. reports that Captain Jno. Pierce has demanded an estimated L45 for payment of the above goods. Daniel Sr. indicates that his son Daniel Jr. is traveling to Barbadoes to attempt to sell them.[3][4]
1660: Dec. 2: Mrs. Elizabeth King writes to her nephew William Guy of London, regarding amounts owed by her son Daniel Jr. for goods sent from William in 1653, that Daniel had not yet paid for but was trying to sell in Barbadoes or trade for other goods. She also mentions sons Ralph and Blaney in this correspondence. [3][4]
He is mentioned in the will of his father Daniel Sr. written on Feb. 7, 1672 and proved at Salem on June 25, 1672. [5] (p. 267-70)[6]
He married at Lynn, MA Tabitha Walker on March 11, 1662. [7] (p. 102) Tabitha was born at Reading, MA on March 19, 1647, daughter of Captain Richard and Sarah King. [8] (p. 1909)[9] (p. 102)[10][1]
Her sister Elizabeth married Daniel's brother Ralph King. [3][10][1]
