Viola was born in 1913 the daughter of (unknown) King and Stella Graves.
She married Wilbur Olmstead and they had five children.
Viola died in 1973 and is buried with her husband in the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, Sacramento, California.[1]

Viola Grace Olmstead. Loving wife of Wilbur Olmstead. Dear mother of Jack M. Olmstead of Napa, Robert G. Olmstead of Oklahoma, Janice Vicrow of North Highlands, David M. Olmstead of Carmichael and Paul Olmstead of Sacramento. Dear sister of Lillie Simonds of Oklahoma, Esther Morris of Sacramento and J. B. King of Stockton. Also survived by 14 grandchildren.
A native of Oklahoma. Aged 59 years.
Friends are welcome at North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave. and are invited to attend services in The Sunset Lawn Chapel, 4701 Marysville Blvd. Thursday, June 28 at 11:00 AM.[2]
