Biography
"ROBERT KING, 2nd Lord Kingston; who d.s.p. in 1693, having settled and limited his estates in remainder to his uncle, Sir Robert King, in consequence of his brother and the inheritor of his honours, JOHN KING, having conformed to the church of Rome; but this nobleman appears afterwards to have enjoyed his estates." Robert graduated from Oxford.
Robert King, 2nd Lord Kingston, married Margaret Harbord, daughter and co-heiress of William Harbord of Grafton Park, Nottinghamshire, Vice Treasurer of Ireland. William Harbor later was Ambassador to the Ottoman Porte.
