Biography

Jonathan Gilbert King was born August 21, 1874 in Franklin Township, Columbiana County, Ohio, United States.^[1] His parents are Robert Woodside King and Eliza Jane Brown. ^[2]

At age 5, on June 1, 1880, he was living on a farm with his parents and eight siblings in Franklin Township, Columbiana, Ohio, United States. ^[3]

On the June 15, 1900 census of Franklin Township, he is shown as an unmarried schoolteacher living on his parents' farm with two siblings. ^[4]

On May 20, 1912, John married Wilhelmina (Hibbard) Jahn in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, USA. This is his first marriage, and her second.^[5] Their only child is

On January 13, 1920, he is living with wife, their daughter Ina, and a stepson Lester in Hartline, Grant County, Washington.^[6]
