Biography

"Joanna Taylor was born September 27, 1665. She was the daughter of John and Thankful (Woodward) Taylor, who may have been the son of the John Taylor of Windsor". ^[1]

She married first, "Thomas Alvord, son of Thomas and Mary (Vore) Alvord", born October 27, 1653 Windsor, Connecticut. "He resided in Northampton, Massachusetts." They were married at Northampton, March 22, 1681. Thomas died before August 10, 1688 (date of inventory of his estate). ^[1]

Joanna married second, Samuel King, (son of John), at Northampton in 1690. Samuel King died (date not given). ^[1]

Joanna married third, in 1702, Deliverance Brigdman (sic). ^[1]

Research Notes

Two of Samuels' children (names not mentioned) died 5 Jun 1699^[2]. The significance of this would be in tracing when Joanna was still alive! However, not important it turns out because it's known that she had a child in 1706 with her 3rd husband.
