Biography

Joanna King was born about 1597 in Wiltshire, England.[1]

If the same person, she died about 1635 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Do not yet have confirmation of this.

She has been put forth as the wife of John Ball, emigrant to Massachusetts, based on this record. [2] (I do not know how reliable the record is. Anderson-35092)

King-19709 and King-642 are not ready to be merged because: These could probably be merged. If so, we could remove the Uncertain existence formatting, and include the claims of her marriage to the immigrant in notes. DNA tests have suggested that that theory is unlikely.

Father William born and died in Dorset? More likely that her father was Nicholas, per birth record here.

King-642 and King-7822 appear to represent the same person because: She is clearly intended to represent the same person, whether or not she was married to John Ball-195 (or any other person). There is no evidence that she ever emigrated to New England, much less died there.
