Biography

Charlotte was born about 1796, (age 49 at date of death).[1][2]

Charlotte married Thomas Henry Hawthorn on 20 June 1815, in Westminster, London, England.[3]

They had at least 4 children, Florence, Henry, Matilda, Julian.

After the death of Thomas, Charlotte married William Davis on 5 June 1825, at St James, Paddington, London.[4]

She arrived in Sydney on Monday, 20th November, 1826 with her second husband and four children aboard the "Earl of Liverpool".[5][6] The four children were Florence (Hawthorn) Whiting (bef.1817-), Matilda (Hawthorn) Anlezark (bef.1821-1880), Julian King Hawthorn (1823-abt.1909) and Thomas Walter Davis (1825-abt.1880)

She died on 10 September 1845, aged 49 years, in Liverpool NSW, and is buried at Liverpool Pioneer Memorial Park, (formerly St Luke's Church cemetery), in the same grave as 2 of her infant sons.[1][7]
