In 1915 Ivor married Gertrude E McGuigan. Their marriage was registered in Sculcoates, yorkshire. [4]
Just 2 years later, on 2nd October 1917 Ivor was killed by a Mine Explosion. [3] He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval memorial as Leading Seaman on HMS 'Brisk'. [5][6]
