KING, John - (from Spring Valley) John King was born in hardin Co.Kentucky, 1834; removed to Arkansas in 1856 and was married to MinervaGibson in 1865, since which time he has resided with his family untilhis death which occurred Monday, August 11, 1902. He was a member ofthe Methodist church, a good citizen, a kind father and a devotedhusband. He leaves a companion, eight children and a host of friendsto mourn his death. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entireneighborhood in their hour of affliction.
