(Mary Kennick) Per 11 Oct 1995 Letter from Ethel Trego, note on death certificatethat s he lived in state (IL) 26 years, arrived abt 1856., therefore.Also, sa ys the Hickory Point Cem - Kirkwood. LDS form with Cecil Co birthplace, and date, says (per a Triplett)sour ce was Herbert B. Egon, Delaware OH, gt.gr. step son of (wrote toHist S oc in Delaware on 10/31/95). It appears that it is Mary Kinnick with her daughter, Mary, who hadmar ried James Triplett, in the 1840 census of Beaver Twp, Noble Co,OH (60 /70) [Jul 2002]. Mary, and her daughter, Mary, age 26, are together in the 1830 censusi n Union Twp, Belmont Co, OH. James Triplett family is nearby. Jamesbou ght land in Beaver Twp in Nov 1830. Triplett family tradition hasit th at Mary Kinnick (the younger) was helping with the children inthe Trip lett home. She would have moved with them to Beaver Twp, some25-30 sou thwest of where they lived in Belmont Co. James© first wife,Ruth, died n ear Batesville (Beaver Twp) in Mar 1831 (shortly afterthey arrived, it w ould appear. James and Mary were married in Jun1831. By 1840, they ha d four children of their own in addition tothe half dozen from his fir st marriage, still in the home. Her mothermost likely went along to he lp [Jul 2002].
