Elizabeth Betsy Kirby was born on 9 Mar 1728 in Goochland, Goochland, Virginia , her father, Richard Kerby Sr and her mother, Elizabeth UNKNOWN Baker. She married James Bird Goolsby Sr about 1743 in Goochland, Goochland, Virginia. She died in 1814 in Goose Pond, Oglethorpe, Georgia and was buried in Isaiah Goolsby Plantation Cemetery, Vesta, Oglethorpe County, Georgia.
