Janet (Kirkcaldy) Kirkcaldy Lady Ferniehurst was born in Scotland.

Janet was the daughter of William Kirkcaldy and Margaret Learmonth.^[1]

She married Thomas Kerr circa 10 Feb 1561.^[1] They had issue:
