Biography

Married Samuel Koontz, 4 January 1858, in Gallia County, Ohio. D. B. Williams, Minister. Isabella was born in Ohio 8 Feb 1833 to Daniel Kirkendall and Lida (Lydia?) Price, and died 7 Dec 1915.

1870 Census shows Samuel living with Isabella and children Jerome (b. est. 1850, presumably to Catharine, since Isabella would have been 13), William (b. est. 1856), Benjamin (b. est. 1860), Warren (b. est. 1862), Leonidas (b. est. 1864), and Lydia (b. est. 1866). A Philip (probably son of Abraham Koontz & Elizabeth Eagle) and Julia Koontz (probably Julia Ellen Foster) live next door to Samuel and Isabella in 1870.
