Biography

Thomas was born in 1907. He was the son of Tom Kirkland and Ella Burger. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1910 Census^[1] and the 1920 Census.^[2] On the 1930 Census he is listed in the household of his sister Doii with her husband Leslie Leroy Gooch.^[3] He was the husband of Edna L. Hillebrand (1902–1984) and they are listed together with one son (Richard E. Kirkland) on the 1940 Census.^[4] He passed away in 1992 at the age of 85.^{[5] [6]}
