In 1835, he is on the list of enrollees at the Camp Academy and shown as age 6. His brothers Benjamin, age 18, and Redwood, age 16, are also at the Academy this year.
Letters of administration were granted on 6 Oct 1856 in Burke County, Georgia to Malcom D. Jones, noting that Augustus C Kirkland had died intestate.[1]
