Obituary, HERBERT J. KIRSCH
Herbert J. Kirsch, 67, of North Main Street, Carrolltown, died Monday, April 5, 1982, at Spangler Hospital.
He was born Feb. 1, 1915, in Nicktown a son of Andrew S. and Amelia M. (Ager) Kirsch. His parents; brothers, Edwin, Walter, Harold, Homer and Alciun; and sisters, Mrs. Demetria Dumm and Mrs. Esther Dumm are deceased.
Surviving are his widow, the former Mary Louise Ramsey, and children: Herbert Jr., Theodore, Mrs. Mary Lou Fees, Mrs. Donna Owens, John Bruce and David, all of Carrolltown; Frank, Elmora; Mrs. Susan Stossel, Barnesboro; and Mrs. Joann Farabaugh, Flinton. There are also 14 grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Aline Duman, Ebensburg; Mrs. Ruth Duman, Latrobe; Herman A., William W., and Marlin, all of Nicktown; Mrs. Alma DeWilliams, Camden, N.J.; Clair J., Clearfield; Sister M. Consuella, RSM, McAuley Hall, Cresson; and Merle F., Carrolltown.
Mass of Resurrection will be sung at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Carrolltown with Fathers Demetrius Dumm OSB, and Myron Kirsch, OSB, nephews of the deceased celebrants. Interment follows in the church cemetery.
