MARLIN J. KIRSCH
Mr. Kirsch, 73, of Nicktown died Sunday, July 15, 1990, at Miners Hospital, Spangler.
Mr. Kirsch retired from Eastern Gas & Fuel Co., Colver, in 1978, after 42 years' service.
He was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Nicktown, the son of Andrew S. and Amelia M. (Ager) Kirsch, and April 12, 1939, married Theresa Tresky.
Surviving are his wife, nine children: Mary Angebranndt of Chandler, Ariz.; Robert and Wilfred of Willowick, Ohio; Stanton of Chesterland, Ohio; Elizabeth Couture of Mechanicsburg, Carol Shook, Margaret Nelson and Regina Kline of Nicktown and Kenneth of Farmington; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are six brothers and sisters: Ruth Duman of Latrobe, Alma DeWilliams of Camden, N.J.; Sister Consuella, RSM, of Cresson; William of Nicktown, Merle of Carrolltown and Clair of Clearfield.
Mr. Kirsch was a member of St. Nicholas' Catholic Church, Nicktown, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and Legion of Mary.
He was also a member of the Colver Local, United Mine Workers of America.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home, Carrolltown.
