Magdalene is the daughter of John Jacob Kitzmiller (1731 - 1808) and Anne Elizabeth Selle (1738 - 1811). It was her father that was charged with the killing of Dudley Digges in York County, Pennsylvania on February 26, 1752. He was acquitted in the subsequent trial.
