They lived in Lake Prairie Township, Marion, Iowa, USA, by 1860.^[2]

Cyrus Kimmel died in 1865 and Rebecca continued to run the farm.^[3]

Rebecca Kimmell passed away in 1891. She was buried in Black Oak Cemetery, Mahaska, Iowa, United States of America.^[4]
