Biography

Merle Kline died young.

Merle George Kline was the third of four children born to George Dobson Kline and Ethel Thompson Kline. He was born on 29 Jun 1924 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.^[1]

Merle died at the age of nine months on 11 Apr 1925 at Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. The cause of death was measles with a contributory cause of bronchopneumonia.^[2] The funeral was held from the family home at 178 Andover Street, Wilkes-Barre. His pall bearers were his Uncle George and his cousin Noel Thomas.^[3] He is buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fair Lawn section, Hanover Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.^[4][5]
