Fanny is the daughter of Lieutenant Barnhart Kline, a Revolutionary War soldier who lived in the vicinity of Kratzerville, Pa. (In 1785, Barnhart lived in Upper Milford Twp. , Northampton Co. , Pa. , but the U. S. Census of 1790 states that he lived in Towemensink Township, same County in that year. Some time before 1800, Barnhart and his family with the Fetter, Kratzers, and others moved from Northampton to what is now Iackson Twp. , Snyder County.)
